Helen Pavli is a multi-disciplinary artist whose background as a singer-songwriter is an overlay to her art practice.
She is currently developing a body of work based on the themes of colour, imagination and landscape using a combination of pouring, movement and mark-making, working with the fluidity of ink and watercolour to convey light, atmosphere and luminosity. Helen is also studying on the Turps Banana Correspondence Course and is working on a larger-scale project investigating further the relationship of fluidity between movement, colour and paint handling.
Based in London, Helen works within adult education and outreach services to support mental health and well-being. She is a registered drama therapist with a BA in Creative Arts from Nottingham Trent University.
