Bernadette Enright creates work that explores human experience and narratives – through her own lens, but also drawing on common shared experience. She works with a variety of media and materials but most often creates in 3D.
Bernadette draws on discussion, media, indirect threads from therapy work, psychology, sociology and any other areas of research pertinent to a project. The work shown in Interruptions reflects her own struggle with lockdown. She uses materials which explore all-round stuckness – creative, domestic, social, physical and emotional. She is playing with the idea of escape.
